Dr. Corena excelled in his higher education programs culminating with a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, and Doctoral Degree in Psychology with high honors.  This education provided him with the necessary knowledge and understanding of human emotions, behavioral patterns, and mental disorders.  Moreover, he has completed multiple trainings and certifications in complex trauma, substance abuse, evidence-based practices, legal and ethical issues, supervision, domestic abuse, child molestation, and human development.  In addition to his education, Dr. Corena has many years of clinical experience working in community-based agencies and private practice. He is the founder and clinical director of a psychological corporation where he oversees the clinical work of licensed clinicians, practicum students, and psychological interns.
